Light Series Number 1

This is the lighting in the 2nd floor lounge of The Gatewood  Building. There is only pendant lighting in this room. The unique aspect about this lighting is that eventhough the bulb is a halogen bulb the shell of the pendant is yellow. This gives a unique feel to the space and actually dims the light so that people can be in the room for long periods of time.
This is a stairwell in the EUC. The type of lighting that is associated with this space is natural lighting from above as well as some artificial recessed down lighting. The natural light is so strong that it washes out all of the artificial lighting associated with the immediate surrounding of the stairwell. Farther back in the space the artificial light be it dim is far more prevalent because of the lack of natural light.

This is my house. At this point in the day all of the lighting is natural. The light is entering the room from the window in the picture and from an unseen window. On top of the television is a lamp with an incandescent bulb at about 2500K. I actually like the temperature of this light because it gives my room a very warm feel.

This is one of the studio areas in Gatewood. There are actually three different light sources in this space. The first is natural light. The existing space has an exterior curtainwall @ about 8'-6" in height that let an extremely high amount of light in. The pendant lighting is metal halide which is pretty cool i would say around 4000K which ideal for task or work lighting. and lastly is the track lighting which allows the pin up work that we post on the wall to show very well during presentations.
